Willkommen!

Wir lernen Deutsch in der Shawnee Heights High School. Ich bin Frau Becker-Lipp. Ich komme aus Deutschland und wohne seit 1990 in Topeka. Ich habe einen Masters von der University of Kansas und bin Deutschlehrerin an dieser Schule seit 1992. Es gibt drei Deutsch 1 Klassen, zwei Deutsch 2 Klassen und eine Klasse Deutsch 3 und 4.

There are four levels of German instruction at SHHS USD #450. We use the proficiency oriented KOMM Mit textbook for the first and second level.

Please check http://german.about.com which is an excellent website, concerning news about Germany, German culture and any other questions related to learning German. One can subscribe to a weekly newsletter to find out a wealth of current information.

Another good website is http://www.vistawide.com/german/german.htm which provides lots of informative links concerning German culture, answers some grammar questions and provides some online practice activities.
