Welcome to the Shawnee Heights Band webpage. Home of the Marching Thunderbirds, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band. Head Director is Mr. Neal Purvis. Assistant Directors are Mr. Lyle Reynoso, and Mr. Nicolas Carr. Thundercussion drum line instructor is Mr. David Wingerson and Color Guard instructor is Ms. Mallory Walters.

The Marching Thunderbirds completed an awesome "Star Wars" season and the Shawnee Heights Band program is preparing for an amazing 2nd semester full of performance opportunities in Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Full Orchestra, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Small Ensembles, and Solos. The Marching Thunderbirds are also preparing for a fabulous trip to Orlando in December of 2012.January 9th is a required meeting for all students who haven't travelled with us before and the trip contract with $100 down payment is due January 15th.
