School Lunch and Breakfast Prices

The USDA's National School Lunch Program SSO has been extended to allow for all Kansas students to receive FREE breakfast and lunch each school day during the 2021-2022 school year. Extra milk, including snack milk, is not included and will cost $.50 a carton.

Extra Milk $ .50
Adult Breakfast $2.10
Adult Lunch $3.75

Free and Reduced Meal Applications will not be collected this year due to USDA's National School Lunch Program SSO providing free meals to students at school. The determination for free or reduced school fees is based on information provided on the Home Economic Survey completed during enrollment. If you did not complete the Home Economic Survey during enrollment you can print and complete the form and turn it into your school's office.

Federal Law states that all meals served in a public school are to be paid for in advance. Make sure your student has money in their account if they are eating school breakfast or lunch. If your student has a negative balance from the past years, he or she will not be able to purchase a meal on the first day of school unless/until the account is brought current. At this time, Shawnee Heights does not participate in the free snack milk program. If snack milk is offered at your school, the student will be charged $.50 a day for a carton of milk; this amount is not covered by the free and reduced lunch program.
