Girls on the Run® is an afterschool program that uses the power of running to prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Sites meet twice a week in small teams of 8-20 girls. We teach life skills through fun, engaging lessons that celebrate the joy of movement. The 10-week program is taught by certified Girls on the Run® coaches and includes three parts: understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork and understanding how we connect with and shape the community.

Intramural sports are offered each year for 5th & 6th grade students. The fee is $25.00 per year. There are four (4) different activities throughout the school year and students do not have to participate in all activities. Each sport will meet from 7:30am-8:15am unless otherwise noted. One (1) Permission slip will cover all activities for the school year.
Each student is responsible for his/her own transportation. Supervision for your non-participating students is not available.
The school district provides insurance for students while they are participating in school sponsored activities. It is a co-insurance with your family policy and the coverage is limited. Please read the certificate of coverage handed out at enrollment.
Intramurals are designed to be a fun program for all levels of physical abilities. This program requires students to exhibit appropriate behavior during the limited 45 minute activity. This will allow our coaches and students to cover more of the basic fundamentals of the sport. Students who are unwilling to follow coaches' instructions will not be allowed to continue the program.
