Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame honors distinguished graduates and former staff members who have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas:
Personal and/or professional achievements
Meaningful contributions to community service
A lifelong commitment to education
Eligibility Requirements
Nominees must meet one of the following criteria:
Be a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School, with graduation occurring at least 10 years prior to nomination
Be a retired staff member of Shawnee Heights USD 450
The Hall of Fame has been a meaningful way to honor alumni and staff who have made a lasting impact on our school and community.
Inaugural members, Dr. Grace (Dexter) Morrison ('66) and former science teacher Paul Willis, were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. The program paused for several years before being reinstated during the 2015-16 school year, when the Renaissance Club began organizing and managing it. Like many traditions, it was placed on hold again after 2019 during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, the Shawnee Heights Public Schools Foundation is proud to bring the Hall of Fame back to life and continue celebrating the accomplishments of our T-Birds.
Nominations open March 2 and close May 30. Inductees will be announced in mid-August. We encourage our alumni, staff, families, and community members to help us recognize those who have made a difference by submitting a nomination.
