Kevin Hansford will be interviewing for the position of Superintendent with the USD 450 Board of Education on February 6, 2024.
Hansford is the first of four candidates the USD 450 Board of Education will interview. Candidates were selected for interviews based on their fit with desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups and an online community survey utilized during the search process.
Hansford currently serves as the Superintendent for Kingman Norwich, USD 331. He is in his third year in that position. Previously, Hansford served as Director of Elementary Education for six years in Shawnee Mission, USD 512.

The board of education will conclude interviews on February 15, 2024. They will then determine which candidate is the best fit for the superintendent position in Shawnee Heights USD 450.
