🌟 Creativity in Action at Tecumseh North Elementary! 🌟
Before the break, Tecumseh North 4th graders wrapped up a whole-grade level novel study of "The Tiger Rising" by tapping into their creative side with a hands-on whittling project! 🐅🧼
Each student received a bar of ivory soap, a toothpick, and a craft stick, then let their imaginations take over as they whittled away. Like Rob, the main character, who finds calm and creativity in whittling wood, our students explored their ideas and embraced the unexpected turns their soap creations took.
And guess what? Beauchamp made a cameo! You could spot him with his signature toothpick "waggling from the side of his mouth."
It was a fun and meaningful way to connect with the novel, and the students LOVED it!
