SHMS held their first I&I Ceremony to celebrate students' involvement in the JAG-K Program. JAG-K allows students to explore career opportunities and practice soft skills to prepare for post-secondary education, military service, or right into the workforce following graduation.

Believe it or not, it's time for students to start thinking about their plans for the next school year! Mrs. Esquibel and Mr. West spoke to 7th-grade students about choosing courses to align with what they may want to study in high school and beyond.

SHOUT OUT to Sophomore Jac Carlson for passing the Microsoft Office Specialist Word & PowerPoint Certification! After a few more courses, he will be a CTE Pathway Completer in either Programming & Software Development or Web & Digital Communications.

December's Real World Parenting topic is "Eating Disorders." FSGC will host a Q&A session on Thursday, December 15, from 6:30 - 7:30p.m via Zoom. See the flyer below for more information and how to register.


This Friday, December 9th, from 12 pm-4 pm, the Topeka Habitat for Humanity will be distributing Warmer at Home Winterization Kits. The kits will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Topeka Habitat ReStore. See additional details in the flyer below.

The Board had a blast learning about the partnership between Tecumseh South Elementary and the Kansas Children's Discovery Center. Tecumseh South hosted a Family Night last Monday that included activities provided by the Discovery Center!
