Last week the Zoology class participated in a Citizen Science Project to capture and tag monarch butterflies as part of Monarch Watch. Education Specialist at the Topeka Zoo and SH alumna, Rachael Rost led the class in a lesson about monarch butterfly conservation.
SHHS JAG-K program received a 5 of 5 Award for meeting or exceeding performance measures in graduation rate, successful outcomes, employment, post-secondary enrollment and job placement!

It was a fantastic weekend celebrating our Kansas Teacher of the Year Nominees. Our district nominees were Tiffany Sloan and Quinci Packard, we couldn't be more proud of them! Also, Cassandra Geis a SHHS grad and former SH teacher Karen DiLeonardo were among the nominees.
