An amazing learning opportunity for our young leaders at the Junior League of Topeka Capital Impact conference. Speakers included Coach Parks, Mrs. Diederich (Seaman Middle school principal), Lindsey Labahn (Bajillion), and Mayor De La Isla.

Have you heard of Rubik's Cube Mosaics? For those like Jacob, who is a pro at the Rubik's Cube, this is another creative way to put his skills to the test. SHHS teacher, Mrs. Weishaar started putting these puzzles out in the library and Jacob has completed 4 of them!
There will be a 1-hour delay for Parent-Teacher Conferences today, Thursday, February 13, 2020. Scheduled meeting times will not change unless you are scheduled between 8:00-9:00 am. If you are schedule between 8:00-9:00 am, please call your school to reschedule your meeting.

Parent -Teacher Conferences start today, February 11th and go through Thursday, February 13th. We have a long weekend coming up. There is no school on February 13th, 14th and 17th!

Don't forget! Shawnee Heights High School Presents "Gatsby Gala." Tickets can be purchased at the high school ahead of time or at the door.

The SHHS teachers came over to the middle school this morning for a Department Gallery Walk. Twelve different stations featuring information about SHHS programs, academics and activities were presented to the 8th grade class.
The Learn & Play Bus was designed to provide play-filled experiences which help children to learn and grow. Materials have been selected to spark a child’s interest and encourage them to explore and learn. See below for their schedule!


We have made a schedule change to make up for 2 of the 3 snow days. Monday, April 13, 2020, is now a student attendance day and Friday, May 22, 2020, is now the last day of school. All school calendars now reflect this change.


It's National School Counseling Week and we want to give a shout out to all our school counselors! Thank you for providing our students with the academic, college and career help, and social-emotional development they need.

Board of Education Meeting is tonight, February 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Professional Development room at the high school.

We are having school, January 24, 2020. Snow has tapered off. County and township crews are working the roads now. Road conditions are not ideal but favorable. Exercise caution and drive safely T-Birds!
